Jessie and I went down to Mobile this past week to hang out with friends and family. I guess I shouldn't say Mobile, since we never actually went there but just to the Eastern Shore and Perdido Key. We spent the first part of the week with Courtney and Allison and Allison's daughter, Emma, at Courtney's parents bay house. When Jessie first saw Mobile Bay she said, "look at all that mud." The girl is from Montana where the water is blue and clear for sure. It took a bit for her to test the water, but soon she was all about swimming and didn't mind the brown water. For some crazy reason we decided to take the girls to the U.S.S. Alabama battleship. It was HOT. The girls had fun for a while but soon the heat about did us all in. Courtney and I spent the night on the battleship as girl scouts, so that was fun to reminisce about. We ate a lot of Oyster House peanut butter pie (literally the whole pie) and did a lot of good chilling out. I took Jessie out on the waverunner, which she loved. We taught the girls to crab with some chicken on a string. Good all round fun.
